It’s about time Jon Heder has a hit, after a string of terrible follow ups to his breakout role in Napaleon Dynamite, Jon made a movie that’s actually FUNNY!
Paramount and DreamWorks’ “Blades of Glory,” with Ferrell and Heder playing figure-skating rivals who become the sport’s first men’s pair, debuted as the No. 1 movie with $33 million in ticket sales, according to studio estimates Sunday.
Jon is trapped playing the “GOSH” nerd but in this film he’s also effeminate so you believe it a little more.

Will Ferrel is up to his usual ruff guy image we saw in Talledega Nights although without the southern accent, but the supporting cast of Amy Poler, that chick from The Office(you don’t know her name either), and Will Arnet keep the laughs coming when the joke probably would’ve gone stale.

Nick Swardson ( Reno 911, Grandma’s Boy) was THE BEST character the stalker to Jon Heder’s Jimmy MacElroy. He stole the show in Reno 911 and he stole most of the laughs of this movie. Here he is pictured below.
