It’s absolutely reprehensible in this day and age to make a statement that guys only have herpes for the time being and than it just goes away like some Mary Mother of Jesus miracle. Chicken pox is in the herpes family of viruses. There are more than just herpes simplex I & II. Also, shingles is a mutated form of chicken pox that has lain dormant for many years. So if a woman you are dating gets an abnormal PAP test, go get yourself checked out. That happened to my husband and I. He went and got tested right away…several of his samples showed precancerous cells.

Um yes there is a test you can take to see if you have herpes its called the Western Blot. Doctors usually don’t like giving these test because sometimes they give false positives. BUT this is by far the best and most acuate test you can take and it will let you know if u have herpes 1 or 2. You can have herpes 1 on teh genitals. As well as u can have herpes 2 on your lip. I think most of these celebrities take valtrex for cold sores it works great it will get rid of it in like 2 days IF it even pops up. You take the pill the minute u feel a tingle not when u see the sore.
