Our prayers to God have finally been answered and Lindsay Lohan’s career has a heart beat again. Never mind that it’s a comedy because that’s what Lindsay does best. She sucks at stripper roles, stripper poles, and thrillers.

She’s going to star alongside Jack Black in the comedy “Ye Old Times” and it sounds like a ringer.

A source at Patriot Pictures, which is producing the yukfest, told E! News that the film follows two rival Renaissance Faire troupes as they make their way through the competitive circuit. It’s unclear whether Lohan will be one of Black’s repertory players or a member of a competing Ren Faire faction.

Lohan’s mother, Dina, also let slip via a phone call to E! News from her Long Island home that her firstborn was currently in talks to star in one other big-screen project, though she did not reveal any details.-E News

We’ve been on the other end (seriously, we swear she was on coke) when Lohan’s mom has talked to people and totally “let slip” things about their career just to get a buzz going. It works, but we just hate that it works.
