No indication of drugs and that’s his mug shot? Scary, Richie really is DRUNK!
Busted for a DUI in Laguna Beach yesterday, it looks like this rocker has hit rock bottom. You know Bon Jovi is soooo pissed right now, because this will be Richie’s third time on the celebrity rehab wagon.
Law enforcement sources tell us the Bon Jovi guitarist was pulled over by the Laguna Beach PD just before 11:00 PM last night. Cops say they observed him driving erratically in a black Hummer and pulled him over. He failed numerous field sobriety tests and was detained for DUI.
At the station a cooperative Sambora opted to take a blood test rather than blow into a breathalyzer. Laguna Beach PD tells TMZ there’s no indication of drugs.

Sgirl says:
Drunk driving is bad. Drunk driving with your child is even worse. Richie has had a rough time lately. I feel so bad for him. I believe this will be a huge wakeup call for him and all he needs to get better. I can totally relate. In the span of a few months his father died, divorce was final, breakup with girlfriend and those are only the things we know of. I am not at all condoning what he did. I think it is awful but I understand. A couple of years ago I had a similar experience. In the span of a few short months my mother died tragically, i was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have surgery, my child’s best friend died of a heart condition and i literally lost it. I didn’t think i had but one weekend i went to Vegas and ended up so drunk that i passed out while walking through a casino. A week or so later i was so drunk that i fell asleep smoking and almost burned my house down. I was drinking to escape. I was in a daze and that was my wakeup call. I never drank again. I empathize with this man. Have a heart - he is human and he has made a mistake. He has been through a lot and he will come out of this. I have faith in him and for him. Get well Richie. I am praying for you.
