Workout isn’t working out for it’s fans, and they’re petitioning to get Bravo to pull the show.
Why?!
Are you ready for this?
Jackie!
Fans are fuming over Jackie’s “bad behavior” this season, and last night’s explosive episode where she fires Peeler, has fans calling her a “negative icon to the gay community”. Now, any gay on TV knows it’s hard to please the ENTIRE gay community (even us, it’s a no win situation), but we’re reporters so we’re reporting the news.
When asked about the petition here’s what the reader said:
Go to bravotv.workout site. click boards. click on season 3……...go to page 14 for not only petition link, but are you ready??? a link and 2 phone numbers for Gatorade makers of propel water.( Workout sponsers) demanding immediate cancellation. Last night was the final straw for lots of fans. they feel, that Jackie is a poster child for bad behavior, very negative icon for the gay and lesbian community.
I am a lesbian. This woman’s behavior in the workplace is really awful.
We didn’t think it was THAT bad and there needs to be drama to keep the show alive, but we have to agree it’s a very different show. The fans seem to only be mad at Jackie because they wrote love letters about Rebecca and the staff!
By the way we just love Rebecca….We think that she should have her own show
Fix it Bravo, the fans are turning and tuning out.
You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.

I started watching again for season 3 and noticed right away something was very different with the show, mainly Jackie. She is coming across very arrogant, demanding and down right MEAN this season. I too have been turned off by her behavior and attitude. Its just not fun to watch anymore.

it’s about time. jackie represents everything people THINK female trainers are, and it’s negatively effecting our profession. she’s a major tool, unprofessional, and i have a hard time believing she’s an ACTUAL trainer, since she can’t seem to relate to…FAT PEOPLE.
she uses her staff to shill her ventures that dont fly and it’s the worst excuse for a reality show i’ve ever seen.
toast her and give peeler his own show.
sasha says:
forget Peeler and the rest…give REBECCCA her own show! what is the matter with Bravo dont they know what people wnat to see
Ramon Ayala says:
somone needs to show that dyke the back of their hand! i love rebecca’s tits!
NYBoy says:
I don’t think she’s a negative role mdel..i just think she is a hypocrite and a liar. She tells hergirlfriend afer tshe gets bck from the lesbian cruise that she was “ick of her coworkers” wen it was obvious she was partying away while the ball and chain is at home. And then her girlfriend tells her that Jackie needs toset boundaries for her employees! Hysterical.
Man says:
Jakie is the most unprofessional business owner possible, not only does she sexually harass her trainers, for example taking them on a lesbian cruise and “hooking up” with the trainers, she has an attitude like she is the be all and tell all of fitness. If any of the female trainers had declined the trip, because they are straight, they would have looked like jerks for not being sympathetic to the gay lifestyle. I love how while dancing, one of the girls was accosted by two butch females who obliviously made the trainer uncomfortable by the look on her face. If Jackie were a man, she would be in jail for sexual harassment due to the comments and activity which she takes part. Also, her business is a joke, anyone who takes fitness series would not work out in a drama filled atmosphere where the trainers clearly care more about being on tv than actually aiding people into getting into shape. The clients are idiots for paying an obscene amount to have joke trainers get them into shape. A gym is a business, and although drama makes for good ratings, when watching everyone in the gym, it’s clear that they cares more about face time a poor reality show than actually promoting healthy living. PLEASE TAKE THIS SHOW OFF THE AIR, not only does it turn people off to fitness, it promotes sexual harrasement, so long as it’s done by lesbians towards other woman.

Is this news? How sad that the assimilationist gayz & lezbeans give a fuck about this or any other “reality” horseshit. Get a life of your own and stop worshiping false media-sanctioned celebutards. We are so much smarter than this. Rise up, peeps!

Fix it is right. Just horrible .
Julie says:
Jackie lied. She said she didn’t make the comments about the client. This is why people are mad; she doesn’t take accountability. Lisa, her manager, said in her blog that Jackie said it.
Jamie Eason, the client in question, said it on bodybuilding.com:

Second of all, Jackie was the one who was doing the trash talking and Lisa chimed in. If you go to Bravo’s site, she completely denies ever saying anything. She is extremely unprofessional. She never even acknowledged, not during or after the incident. That was my first and last time to ever train there. I only went on the show as a favor to Brian Peeler. To say that she didn’t know who I was seems obsurd since I had to sign off to even appear on the show. I do not have a trainer and haven’t had one years. It is really unfortunate that they used that incident to fire Peeler.
Thank you to those who have shown their support on the site and on my myspace. I really appreciate it!

This is the response Gatorade/Propel has sent in response to the ex fans of Work Out.
On behalf of The Gatorade Company, we want to thank you for contacting us and sharing your concerns about the relationship Propel has with the TV show The Workout, specifically around the incident where one of Jackie Warner’s trainers makes a comment to Jackie about a client’s breasts. What made this exchange even more troubling was the discovery the woman being discussed is a breast cancer survivor.
We have watched the episode in question, and we too were surprised and saddened to see the conversations unfold between these trainers. Since this episode aired, we have heard from many viewers of The Workout who are also consumers of our product, and we understand and relate to your disappointment in what occurred.
We have notified Bravo we no longer wish to be associated with The Workout and will be pulling our commercials. Furthermore, we will not renew our sponsorship of this program in subsequent seasons. Please note, because this season’s episodes, and past seasons’ episodes, have already been filmed and edited, moving forward you may still continue to see Propel used in the show.
We take very seriously the concerns you have shared, and we understand why there is discomfort for our consumers with an association of Propel and The Workout, given the unfortunate events that unfolded during this week’s episode. We hope our immediate actions send a clear message to the community that we greatly value what you have to say, agree with your sentiments, and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with us.

Gatorade Consumer Response
I for one am an ex fan of the show and Ms. Warner. It is disgusting that BRAVO has not yet sent a response to its viewers. To top that off they are airing repeats of Work Out constantly. Until they pull all reruns and the show I will no longer watch BRAVO TV. Ms. Warner take note you are in the wrong and you couldn’t even promote a proper apology to your fans. To anyone who hasn’t not signed the petition yet please do so. Your voice counts! Here is the link to sign the petition.

Lori says:
We’re calling for the show to end NOT due to her “negativity” but due to her DISGUSTING comments she made about Jamie Eason’s breast augmentation AFTER her breast cancer surgery and how Jackie not only REFUSES to apologize, she fired Peeler for asking for one and wanting to discuss this in a civil manner. I don’t care what kind of role model she is, that’s not the concern here, what is, is that she thinks she can make derogatory remarks about other women’s body parts and obese people behind their backs when they’re trying to get themselves healthy and then LIE about it and put the blame on everyone but herself and NOT offer an apology at all! We know reality stars are suppose to offer up drama, but downright disrespect to cancer surviors and obese people is out of line…period!
PS, btw, Propel/Gatorade have PULLED their sponsorship from this show IMMEDIATELY due to her actions and our actions, so THANK YOU GATORADE!!! If they think it was important enough to pull their sponsorship, you should too!
dale says:
It is not enough that gatorade and propel pulled there sponsorship. The show should be cancelled, Jackie should not get that workout DVD contract, and she should get seriously involved in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to really understand the true depth of her assinine behavior. That the two of them could sit there and make comments about the clients is deplorable, that the woman was a breast cancer survivor makes it all the more horrible. People go to the gym to get healthy, not to have smarmy comments made about their bodies. Those two rigs were only sorry that they got caught…there was nothing genuine about their recap of how they saw it or their lame-ass apology. As a cancer survivor myself, I was completely sickened by the whole thing.
ken says:
I think it’s also sickening that Jackie is using the old chiché of ‘editing’ as her defense. Bitch, please…you messed up and we all get to watch.
There is something very different about this season. Whatever likable quality Jackie has took off on it’s Harley and didn’t wave ‘bye’.
A professional person would have listened to Peeler speak his mind and frustrations about what had happened. Even if he was upset (justifiably) she and that other woman were wrong in saying what they were saying. This all could have been taken care of with class and patience, both things Jackie has none of.
When does BRAVO start shooting ‘Peelerbuilt’? I’ll Tivo that in the space once reserved for WorkOut.
