Well that didn’t take long! Jackie certainly heard her fans loud and clear! Good For Her!
Jackie recently wrote this letter as an explanation of season 3 and her actions on last night’s eruptive episode:
To clear up a couple of things from last night’s episode.
I did not make a derogatory remark about Brian Peelers client on camera or off-camera. The only reason he tried to bring it up to me on camera is to villainize me and set me up for something I didn’t do.
Lisa did not know this woman had cancer and made a comment about her breasts which she apologized for. I have dealt with cancer personally as well as watched my mother struggle with it so I am very sensitive about this disease.
I have been employed in the past and in a million years would not have behaved the way Brian behaved with me. I can’t imagine raising my voice or refusing to leave my boss’ office when asked politely to do so. I feel totally justified in firing him. I have always personally disliked him but was forced to continue to employ him because he was chosen by the producers for the show. Please remember that this is a show and that 90% of the beautiful and inspiring work we did was left on the cutting room floor. The producers decided (regrettably) to create through editing a very different and what I think a very negative show.
This season is not in any way a reflection of what I or SkySport represents. I have spent a great part of my life trying to heal and am just as floored as you, the viewers, by the negative editing.
On a lighter note, I thought Erica looked beautiful during her shoot and it was a great self-esteem builder. Gregg B and Deenie are just not fitting! SkyLab is challenging and getting off to a rocky start but some powerful changes are yet to come.
Thank you-
Jackie Warner
OOOHhhh She’s blaming Bravo! Careful, careful, Bravo’s powerful. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.
You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.

yogi says:
Apology??? Nope, no apology there.
michelle says:
So she is basically saying that the show is all fake and run by producers?
Kind of takes the fun out of watching what we all think is a “reality” show, huh?
Karla Marla says:
I’m sorry but I really think that she is a fake bitch.
Steve says:
I second that. Not a trace of apology. Unless you count defending your actions as an apology…
karen says:
I agree 100% .The Bravo producers are doing their best to turn workout into a tabloid show . I adored seasons1 &2 This season the editing is horrible. choppy, disjointed . Bravo should be ashamed of itself Peeler should have been fired 3 years ago. com on Jackie , get your old haircut back, and give us what we want..your old self.
Julie says:
1) The boyfriend of Miss Eason, Rich, who is on MySpace, seems to believe you DID make the comments. In any event, as owner, you should have not allowed Lisa to speak that way about it and disciplined her! I think you made the comments also; I’m signed up for his blog since he’s stated he will say what he actually heard.
2) I don’t care if you did have cancer. You should not allow derogatory comments in your gym.
3) Peeler was within his rights to ask for an explanation. You wanted him to appear the villain and an excuse to fire him. He was sticking up for his client, more than you did.
4) There was no editing in the exchange between you and Brian, unless you claim that they dubbed your voice.
5) Deenie, the client of Greg, had a valid point about him not being on time, which you ignored. Also, you could have had her doing other excercises besides butt lifts. Watch Jillian Michaels on Biggest Loser. When she has clients with injuries, she has many varied routines she has them do and still get in a workout. You could learn from her.
6) It seems to be all about selling your DVD, your workout clothes, etc., instead of listening to the clients and what their needs are.
7) I am so disappointed; I have been a fan of Workout and had hoped it would be something really inspirational due to the dedication to Doug (it was horrible how you locked out Peeler and suggested he only showed emotion about Doug because he wanted the attention!) but you managed to wreck that.
Craig says:
I have never seen someone act so unprofessional. And to blame it on the editing? She clearly let personal feelings blind her to the bigger picture. Whether she said it or not, it was said in her presence and under her supervision. For the owner of a business to allow personal attacks on clients and then fire the one person who is trying to correct the problem is unacceptable. Jackie’s pride and arrogance will be her downfall.

Although she apoligize. It sounds forced she still has a job as an employer to make sure her employees feel comfortable and especially the clients that go to the gym! Now I wonder what her or that stupid ignorant girl Lisa says about people overweiht.

It’s like an apology, only different?
nicole says:
haha that’s a load of crap…i didn’t hear an apology….what i heard is her placing blame on other people… Editing is definatly a tool that is used when making these reality shows…but at the same time they can’t make stuff come out of their mouths that was never said…and the fact that an employee spoke about a client in front of her boss like that proves the type of buisness jackie is running.
Michele says:
Jackie Warner should apologize for continuing to denigrate the entire gay community for her unprofessional and disgusting behavior toward her employees. She should be sued for sexual harassment by every one of her female employees that she’s been in an intimate embrace with. She is possibly the worst boss I’ve ever seen depicted on TV. So, she doesn’t like Peeler, so what? That doesn’t mean you treat him like crap on national TV. If you’re the employer, you use grace and bite your tongue to avoid problems. The only person I saw causing a problem every time Peeler was on the air was Warner herself. An appropriate response would have been to talk to him calmly and try to smooth things over. Hear your employees out instead of telling them to shove it because you’re the boss. If this show weren’t on TV, none of these people would give Warner the time of day. I’m just waiting for the day when the only headlines about Warner are those that tell of the lawsuits against her by employees she has sexually harassed and humiliated.
BTW, you forgot to post her apology.
Reality Editor says:
Funny how they didn’t show the footage of the boy friend confronting them, I know from working in reality TV, they would have at least had the audio from the confrontation, if she’s so innocent, lets see the footage!
Susan Dancy says:
Jackie has let fame go to her head. We’ve seen it before. I think her next appearance will be a starring role on Celebrity Rehab.
Laura says:
Uhh did we all watch the same episode ?? I believe she herself at the end of the show says that they both made comments and now she is denying it?? Maybe I am wrong. Regardless, she did tell hime to ” get the F–k out !” . Professional? I think not. and I didn’t see him refusing to leave either. I was HUGE FAN before that episode and after reading some other peoples opinion you see what contradictory messages she sends. FYI she posted her apology on the BRAVO blog way before she had all those 100+ comments AND also, spare me she could’ve fired him after the season last year if she really wanted to.
p.r says:
from what i hear- lisa the manager said nothing mean about the client just made an observation and that the person talking SH#T was jackie and a member of bravo. her bofriend overheard everything and lisa apologized not jackie or the member of bravo. this was never filmed. lisa and brain even filmed a “date” scene and r still friends?? sounds odd if she really said bad things. Not sure but somethin aint right w/this. i believe her apology and her story- at least she admits she was bitchy. Jackies assistant was shown in the background and from what i hear- quit bc she couldnt deal w. ms. warner.
Lori says:
Ummm….Warner Apologizes to Fans???
Maybe I need glasses, I didn’t read any apology…I read her blame her assistant, who Jamie Eason denies herself was the one making the derogatory comments, she blames Peeler, there’s a shock and then she blames Bravo’s editing..am I missing something here???
Did she go to the Ashlee Simpson school of “101 Ways to Blame Others for your Mistakes”
Bravo needs to dump this chick STAT!

This is the response Gatorade/Propel has sent in response to the ex fans of Work Out.
On behalf of The Gatorade Company, we want to thank you for contacting us and sharing your concerns about the relationship Propel has with the TV show The Workout, specifically around the incident where one of Jackie Warner’s trainers makes a comment to Jackie about a client’s breasts. What made this exchange even more troubling was the discovery the woman being discussed is a breast cancer survivor.
We have watched the episode in question, and we too were surprised and saddened to see the conversations unfold between these trainers. Since this episode aired, we have heard from many viewers of The Workout who are also consumers of our product, and we understand and relate to your disappointment in what occurred.
We have notified Bravo we no longer wish to be associated with The Workout and will be pulling our commercials. Furthermore, we will not renew our sponsorship of this program in subsequent seasons. Please note, because this season’s episodes, and past seasons’ episodes, have already been filmed and edited, moving forward you may still continue to see Propel used in the show.
We take very seriously the concerns you have shared, and we understand why there is discomfort for our consumers with an association of Propel and The Workout, given the unfortunate events that unfolded during this week’s episode. We hope our immediate actions send a clear message to the community that we greatly value what you have to say, agree with your sentiments, and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with us.

Gatorade Consumer Response
I for one am an ex fan of the show and Ms. Warner. It is disgusting that BRAVO has not yet sent a response to its viewers. To top that off they are airing repeats of Work Out constantly. Until they pull all reruns and the show I will no longer watch BRAVO TV. Ms. Warner take note you are in the wrong and you couldn’t even promote a proper apology to your fans. To anyone who hasn’t not signed the petition yet please do so. Your voice counts! Here is the link to sign the petition.

What apology? This is just lame excuse to save her show and her livelihood. Her behavior has been an outrageous turn off this entire season and this apology attempt only proves that she feels the center of the universe is her self. She shows no remorse, no regret and although demanding “godlike” respect for herself, she shows no respect to anyone around her, her trainers, her clients, or the viewer (did not use fan..am not a fan her…only of the others on the show).
Bravo - take the hint. Lose Warner or lose viewers!
stage4melanomasurvivor says:
Sorry Jackie and L.A. Rag but that is in no way shape or form. The viewers are not stupid nor do we need to suck up to you like the Trainers that are
looking for more airtime. You have no reality at all.
L.A. Rag mag I know you are being sarcastic but the Title you posted is
very misleading
Moraine says:
You people are ridiculous and overreacting… Get a life and another hobby.
Had there been NO mention of this womans breast cancer survival no one would have given two hoots what Jackie or anyone else said. I am sure each and everyone of you is guilty of making equally outrageous comments about a woman and whether her breasts are fake or real, but now, you want to act innocent? Give me a break.
SPC says:
The nasty comments, breast cancer or not, make you want to ask “Who would want to work out in a gym with such catty and judgmental people?” Part of the fear, I’m sure , over weight people have with a gym environment is these type of comments behind their back.
Jackie… your lack of understanding or refusal to acknowledge the hurtful and judgmental comments made by your assistant, who you should have fired on the spot, is disturbing. You continue to direct your anger at Brian and continue to defend the indefensible. You have not apologized yet has be defiant and arrogant regarding the situation. This is why so many are upset and why you have lost the support of GatorAde I will not watch your show and I have already tossed your t shits and will not purchase any other products. You have really disappointed me.

Mike says:
I just saw the show for the first time today and saw that episode where Peeler got fired. Just based on that episode that lady Jackie seems really lame for not apologizing initially since she is the ‘boss’ so her discussion with an employee busting on a client does reflect on her. Of course we all are guilty of such things, but we don’t have cameras around and we usually don’t get caught like they did. But when your caught and you have an image/business to maintain, you should suck it up and apologize or your shooting yourself in the foot like Pete Rose did.
Jackie, you will not be winning an award for PR damage control anytime soon, you are busted and your blinding arrogance in lieu of other people’s claims that you were talking trash, discounting the other stuff, is gonna haunt you for a while. Isn’t Propel pulling support? Karma karma karma.
The good thing about being your own boss is you can do what you want to do, the bad thing about being your own boss is you gotta deal first hand with any heat and in this case Jackie is burned!
Peeler seems like a high maintenance dude, no doubt, but he deserved to have his boss at least address his concerns in this situation instead of the defensive behavior she displayed. Good reality TV drama, who will she fire or hook up with next!
