Commemorating its landmark 20th Anniversary, The Dinah 2010 will take place March 31 through April 4, 2010 at The Hilton Hotel, The Hyatt Regency and the Palm Springs Convention Center. Despite the current economic climate, ticket sales are up from last year and the Hilton Hotel sold out in record time over the holidays.

Jay claimed on a gripping Oprah yesterday that Jimmy sucker punched him on his own show. Sorry Jay but Jimmy doesn’t see it as a sucker punch and he’s going to tell us all the REAL story! It’s fascinating to hear celebs like Jimmy Jam tell us common folk the ins and outs of how the Jay Leno show is produced. Did you know the 10 At 10 questions are rehearsed and called in before by a producer (note the sarcasm)!? I’m at a loss for words , but Jimmy wasn’t when he ripped Jay a new one. He didn’t really sucker punch you Jay because he did it to your face, he more like fisted you in front of your own show.

Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Arrested Again

Does this family know anything else other than trouble? I’m not thinking so. So the story goes… Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Michael Lohan, violated the restraining order against him by his ex girlfriend. Apparently, Loser Lohan called his ex, Erin Muller at work on January 21… that is in violation of the court order. Michael was arrested and booked for criminal contempt and is due in court on February 25.

What a loser.

Why would you want to contact some ex-girlfriend that has a restraining order on you? Don’t you get that she doesn’t want to chat? Is there no other low rent, Jersey bar tramp, that will let you get into her pants?

You are a Lohan… there has to be.

Gay Dating Site Commercial To Air at Super Bowl

This is too good. I can’t wait to see how people react to this gay dating site commercial for ManCrunch.com that is tentatively scheduled to air during the Super Bowl. You have to watch the video, it’s super funny. Of course quit a bit of controversy has insued.

According to a rep for the dating site, which operates under the slogan “Where Many Many Many Men Come Out to Play,” the ad was submitted on Monday, January 18th. When the site followed up on the status of the ad on Friday, January 22nd, they were told by CBS that “the spot hadn’t been officially approved yet” by network standards, and that “all the Super Bowl spots were sold out.”

“ManCrunch requested the spot get reviewed anyway just in case another advertiser drops out and a spot becomes available, as often happens, and CBS agreed,” added the site’s rep.

ManCrunch officials said they believe CBS has no intention of airing a commercial for their gay dating service, “but do not want to officially ‘reject’ the spot out of fear there may be a backlash from gay advocacy groups.”

However, a representative from the network tsaid that advertising spots were still open, and was unsure where that comment originated.

“The ad is still under review, the process takes a little while,” a rep from CBS said. “We still have a lot of ads we have yet to review.”

ManCrunch’s submission is not the only controversial ad CBS has had to review this year. On Wednesday, the network announced that they had approved a pro-life commercial starring Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, funded by the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family, to air during the game.

“CBS’s recent decision to air an anti-choice advertisement during Super Bowl XLIV was outrageous,” a rep from advocacy group The Women’s Media Center said. “Even worse is the network’s about face from its own policy of rejecting controversial Super Bowl ads.

“The Women’s Media Center and organizations dedicated to reproductive rights, tolerance, and social justice, are urging the network to immediately cancel this ad.”
