You heard me right and no, I’m not turning into a typical Hollywood 20 something dating 80 year olds, ahem Crystal Harris!
Any who, yesterday was a whirlwind! Stan Lee was so sweet, funny and a little pervert! The man’s a legend, he can cop a feel, those hands created X-Men, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, the Hulk, Thor, to name a few!
He was kind of like an open book but I guess you have to be when you’ve still got it at 88! He dropped some fun news, they have a new project coming out with Arnold Schwarzenegger, called The Governator, I remember seeing those shirts at LAX years ago when Arnold was first elected governor.
He unleashed some of his writing secrets!
1) He names his characters with the same first letter in their first name as in their last name due to his bad memory, Bruce Banner, Peter Parker!
2) He writes to excite and entertain his reader, not intending on making better people out of his readers, reference X-Men for this one.
Lastly, let me leave you with a quote from yesterday, Stan Lee Day in my book, I’m such a geek, don’t judge me!
“A hero is someone, when he or she has to do something to help someone else, does it even though it may be difficult or there may be an element of danger, but somebody who doesn’t walk away from the challenge.”
Yeah, that quote wasn’t that profound and it relates more to comics than real life. Okay, I’m mildly attracted to Stan Lee, stop judging me!
