A: ABC Family what the hell happened to you? You used to be the beacon of all that is pure and Christian now it’s an 8PM time slot on a Sunday and Lindsay Lohan has smoked more on camera than George Carlin! I love smoking things as much as the next person but I draw the line when your straight to cable movie, Labor Pains, is showing a 25 year old protagonist chain smoking Marlboros in the bathroom.
The entertainment contractions of Lindsay Lohan’s straight to cable TV movie of the week Labor Pains were just too much for us. We PUSHED and PUSHED past the half hour mark hoping everything would turn out right, but in the end we had the baby too early and it was ugly and disformmed so we turned it off. I didn’t laugh once, Lynn cleaned out our bathroom drawers he was so bored, and Linds panicked character read a little more like she was begging us to like her again.
The bitch smoked like a lesbian trucker through the entire movie while getting advice from Cheryl Hines. They smoked in the bathroom twice, and in a bar over drinks before I couldn’t take anymore. Maybe her nic fits were suppose to be humorous juxtaposed against her lying about being pregnant, but it just ….wasn’t funny.
Is ABC Family becoming lazy or are our teenagers just getting looser? Remember, they also have The Secret Life Of An American Teenager which teaches kids it’s better to get pregnant and have it because it’s more interesting and you’ll get lots of attention from your parents, than to just use a condom. Thirteen year old girls watch this crap, I know because WE WATCH THIS CRAP.
Won’t somebody think of the children? What will they watch in their tween years if they don’t have ABC Family? Veggie Tales?
