After years of hard work,Adam Carolla has sold his pilot to NBC. Writing the script tirelessly with good friend and partner Mike Lynch, Adam will start shooting his pilot in February, on top of launching his new online network ACE Broadcasting. Everyone has dreams in Hollywood even famous people, and the sitcom world is uncharted territory for Adam. The show focuses on a contractor who embarks on rebuilding his life after a divorce, and will be shot with single camera docu-style like “The Office”. Carolla co-wrote the pilot with Kevin Hench, who has worked with him and Kimmel on Comedy Central’s “The Man Show” and “Too Late With Adam Carolla.”
The two are executive producing with Jon Pollack (“30 Rock”), Kimmel, Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun as well as Carolla and Kimmel’s manager James Dixon and Jackhole’s Daniel Kellison.
