Carolla was clearly joking when he said there should be a screening process for the Gay Games, but apparently anyone can join and the FGG (Federation of Gay Games) are inviting Adam to prove that anyone can compete.

In a recent podcast, humorist Adam Carolla suggests a way to “screen out straights” from the Gay Games. While we’re glad that “Gay Games” is top of mind for Mr. Carolla, we do want to remind him that however much he might enjoy participating in the screening process he suggests, there isn’t one. The Gay Games are for everyone.

The next edition of the largest sporting event open to all will be held this summer from 31 July to 7 August in Cologne, Germany. Men and women, gay and straight, beginners and Olympic champions: all are welcome to compete in a spirit of Participation, Inclusion, and Personal Best ™.The FGG would like to extend a personal invitation to Mr. Carolla to come to Cologne.

We all know Adam never turns down a personal invitation to Germany in August!

I doubt they’re offing to pay his way first class because let’s face it…our Gay Games just don’t have the budget that the Winter Olympics got from NBC.

While we were all out spending money on Friday, Adam was hard at work on the last day of his Untitled pilot. Mommie and the twins Twittered these adorable pics after visiting daddy on set.

That’s his daughter in the car scene picture. Don’t worry, we have a great video coming up so you Rag Maggers can meet her on Monday. Adam and the team finished shooting and now it’s the dreaded time of rewrites and screenings.

Adam is bringing his #1 podcast for two shows to the historic landmark LIVE on February 27th, at
8PM and 10PM. With a midnight screening of his own critically acclaimed film, THE HAMMER, to end the evening.

Unfamous Adam used to ditch school at North Hollywood High with best friend, Donny, and escape to the El Portal Theater to see bad movies and check out girls. Class clown Carolla didn’t know what he’d do with his life or what he was even doing that weekend, but Adam was comfortable in his Noho playground which ran down Lankershim Blvd.

“Adam and I saw many a movie at the El Portal as kids. Adam saw quite a few movies at the old Pussycat Theater down the street too, but that’s a different story. It’s great to be doing a local show, it feels right to have it be at the El Portal”, says Donny.

In the twenty years since, the El Portal Theater has undergone a million dollar make over to save the crumbling art deco facade, but still doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Adam is committed to saving a piece of his past, by bringing his sold out LIVE podcast to the El Portal throughout 2010. Plus, as a special treat for die hard fans, Adam will be showing a slide show that chronicles his journey from Noho High to the stage. God, that must feel amazing. Triumphantly returning to stick a flag in your hometown’s ass.
