HUGH JACKMAN SIGNS UP TO PRODUCE & STAR IN GHOSTOPOLIS
Jackman will produce through his Seed Prods., as will the Gotham Group.
The story centers on a man who works for the government’s Supernatural Immigration Task Force. His job is to send ghosts who have escaped into our world back to Ghostopolis. When a living boy accidentally is sent to the other side, the agent must team with a female ghost (and former flame) to bring him back.
No director or writer has been attached to the project.
BEN STILLER PRODUCES/STARS IN INTERNET SCAM MOVIE SPREAD GODNESS
A Chicago banker who gets swindled in a Nigerian Internet scam, was written by Mark Friedman and developed by Participant Media exec veep Jonathan King and prexy Ricky Strauss before they took it to Stiller.
Stiller will produce with Red Hour partner Stuart Kornfeld and Jeremy Kramer.
While the project is meant to be entertaining, it sheds light on current issues in Nigeria and other African countries, fitting the Participant Media mandate to make films that compel social change.
JENNY McCARTHY LANDS BIG OPRAH DEAL – GOD SAVE US

McCarthy has inked a multi-year deal with Winfrey’s Harpo Prods. to develop projects on different platforms, including a syndicated talk show that the actress/author would host.

Matthew McConaughey is making an exchange, The actor’s J.K. Livin production banner is developing “Exchange Student”.
The story revolves around two exchange students, one who ships out from the U.S. and one who comes in, who experience new environments in very different ways: One has the time of his life, the other goes off the rails. The tenor of the project is described as a family comedy with wry overtones a la Wes Anderson.
Lindsay Lohan will has landed her first big interview, after her first big lesbian romance with the world’s most famous lesbian Ellen. She’ll dance for us and her heartbreak on April 20th! Is this an upswing or a downfall? We’re confused.

Kristen Bell has been cast as the lead in Disney’s comedy “You Again,” to be helmed by Andy Fickman.
Actress will play a girl who’s horrified to find that her brother is marrying the very girl who made her life a living hell in high school.
Mark Wahlberg and James Franco have joined the cast of ‘Date Night’.
The pair are the latest to sign on for the movie, which follows a married couple played by Steve Carrell and Tina Fey in their attempt to plan a date without their children, only for things to go disastrously wrong.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS
Kristen Johnston (“3rd Rock From the Sun”) is in talks to star in Fox’s new take on Britcom “Absolutely Fabulous.”Johnston table-read the “AbFab” script for Fox execs on Friday; the net picked up the project to pilot shortly after that.
A: Joanna Lumley’s hard to top but Kristen’s the only one who could compete.
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?
Sarah Jessica Parker and Susan Sarandon will star in NBC’s genealogy reality series “Who Do You Think You Are?” Lisa Kudrow, who is executive producing the show, also will be featured on “Think,” which explores celebrities’ ancestral history and is based on the hit BBC documentary series.(April 20th, NBC)

Daniel Craig has now been confirmed to play the villain Red Rackhamin in the live action 3-d film The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn directed by Steven Spielberg and co starring Jamie Bell. We can’t wait for 2011!
Donnie Osmond slipped on The Bonnie Hunt Show when asked if he’d ever do Dancing With The Stars and said he is on the show next season.
“Well, I guess I am making an announcement. I’ll say I am seriously considering doing it, let’s put it that way.”
Now we really won’t watch it.
