Drew Barrymore is looking lovely with her new long hair at the Nylon/Express August Denim Issue Party at The London Hotel here in West Hollywood last night. Those blonde colored extensions looks fun… and maybe a bit itchy at the root.

Drew chatted up a bit about her troubled childhood growing up in Hollywood and goes on to talk about her current work.

“My hedonistic moment wasn’t that tumultuous… It just happened at such a young age so it seemed way crazier than it was. Everyone goes to a point where they do stuff excessively. And the majority of people bounce back. Some of them fall into the rabbit hole — I just got mine out of the way early. There were moments when I experienced tremendous pain with everything being so known. You’re like, ‘Can I f*cking f*ck up or have an embarrassing moment or do anything in f*cking private?’… If you’re a 16-year-old and in high school and it doesn’t work out with the guy, and everyone’s talking about it in the hallways, it’s the same feeling. It’s all relative.”

‘I love what I do, I can’t stop it. It’s not just about acting. I love film, I’m a director now, I love writing, I love producing, I love having a company that makes films and to be prolific and have a place to put all the ideas that are constantly bubbling up inside of me and that don’t let me sleep at night.

Can you believe that Drew Barrymore has survived Hollywood for basically her entire life? We would expect her to be addicted to a wide range of drugs by now, struggling with weight issues, and have several DUI’s… but no she doesn’t. Yes, I know she was a 13 year old alcoholic and did cocaine with her crazy mother, Jaid Barrymore, but that is so in the past. Now she is about making Hollywood work for her… and it’s working. Look at her pulling off a sparkly, silver, sequin dress at the screening for ‘Everybody’s Fine’ in NYC last night.

It’s hard to get away with a sequin dress with flash bulbs fluttering when you’re not in your 20′s… but I am loving her in this. Not sure what is going on with that single exposed shoulder action though.

L: Personally I think the Fairfax and Melrose flea market has totes gone downhill! It used to be a staple of life in West Hollywood, we’d go every Sunday to Fairfax & Melrose swap meet but we never saw Drew there. These two are so back together. One time I went and I bought this huge piece of coral from these two clueless ladies who sold it to me for $60!!! What idiots!

A: Those were the days, now it’s just the same crap different Sunday. The soap lady, the records guy, the pop art.

Are they trying to be friends after they broke up? I hate that! Let’s just dump each other and move on so we’re not fooling ourselves in two months with breakup sex.

L: That’s the best kind. I think judging from that flannel Drew’s wearing she rolled out of his bed this morning and asked for something to wear.

A: See this is why you can’t notice celebs in the daytime. They dress like punk kids, but they found some good things.

L: Now they’re going to go home and do it….again.

A: Oh my god they’re just attaching any and everybody with a name now!. Not that I don’t think Drew’s direction of the Choose Or Lose special in 2004 wasn’t amazing! But has their stunt casting bleed into their director’s chair? Drew knows the same golden rule of Hollywood that we use, if you want something just ask for it in the press and it will materialize! Now this trick mainly works for celebrities but can also be used by anyone capitalizing on their 15 minutes of fame. We asked for a wedding in the press and the board of tourism in Canada/Hot 89.9 gave it to us along with a honeymoon of a lifetime from our girl Rosie O Donnel!

We adore Drew to death and were introduced to her Pez head (thin body big head) by David Cooley (owner of The Abbey) at his house one night. She’s a doll and a true star but here’s her experience via directing IMDB, you look at it and tell me if there’s something missing.

L: She has to get behind the camera soon because she’s getting older and won’t find funny spacey girl roles for much longer.

A: Tanking a big film like this would be career suicide for our budding director, but part of me feels they just put her in the mix so we’d all talk about it, like we all are now.

Drew Barrymore was spotted “in a full-on make-out session” at a NYC concert with the extremely lucky Gossip Girl star, Ed Westwick. Ed is soooo her type right?

After the concert, Barrymore, 33, and Westwick, 21, took their PDA to Bowery Electric, according to New York’s Daily Intel.”Drew was hanging all over Ed!” a witness tells Us, denying more reports that she had also smooched Crawford. “They were full-on making out!”

So Drew Barrymore’s driving in West Hollywood (probably leaving our house) and this guy totally hits her from behind. So Drew pulls over to exchange information with the driver but he takes off, and she’s like OH NO YOU DON’T BITCH!

Drew chased this guy around LA until he finally lost her. We wonder if he even knew who he hit and who he was messing with!! Drew did memorize his license plate number and gave it over to police.

She IS one of Charlie’s Angels.

Drew Barrymore went on Oprah to donate 1 million dollars to the World Food Program. Drew was asked by the United Nations to be an Ambassador Against Hunger, and encourage people to reach out to starving children in Africa.

Which is beyond generous but it makes you wonder how many millions must she have, that she can give away one and be like, whatever?

“I know it’s important to act locally, but think globally,” she says. “Ninety-three percent of it goes directly into these children’s hands and gives them the chance at having a future. � I’m able to make this incredible donation. This has changed my life, but I encourage everyone to give [what they can].”

Drew and her boyfriend, Justin Long, spent the rest of their vacation in Hawaii rubbing Aloe on each other’s sunburns, smoking the local plants, and ordering room service.
