Molly Ringwald Breaks Down Over Baby On The Parent Experiment

OMG you guys I would totes be crying right now but I have too much botox near my eyes to feel anything. Molly Ringwald burst into tears on a recent episode of The Parent Experiment podcast, after recalling a friend from her past and how she helped her get through the saddest moment in her life.

I had a late term miscarriage, and um I didn’t know how to handle it. And all the doctors that I went to couldn’t find a reason for it. And then I found myself dialing her (Jennifer’s) parent’s number. Within five minutes I was on the phone with her and (starts crying) it was like the friendship never ended. There was no…God I get teared up just talking about it.

Molly was honest, open, and surprisingly not jaded by Hollywood. She wasn’t just there to plug her new book, Getting The Pretty Back: Friendship, Family and Finding the Perfect Lipstick, she was there to be real with the girls and it showed. Molly kicked off her shoes, curled up on the orange couch, and just talked Mommy stuff for an hour.

OMG: Mayim Bialik Blossomed Into A No Diapers Mother”

OMG guys, Blossom/ Mayim Bialik was on Lynette & Teresa’s podcast The Parent Experiment, and …love her death…but she’s the freakiest and most holistic mother I’ve ever met.

- NO DIAPERS! Which is called Elimination Communication, cuz I guess no one needs to communicate when there is poop everywhere.

- NO CLEANING PRODUCTS! Just vinegar and lemon juice.

- NO BUYING BABY FOOD! You can make your own organic foods at home, because mother’s have nothing else to do.

- ONE BED FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

Mayim’s blossomed into the spokesperson for the Holistic Mother’s Network and preaches her new/old tactics on today’s show. It all sounds insane to a gay couple who can barely imagine raising a kid, let alone using Tea Tree Oil on an old cloth so I don’t have to buy baby wipes! But it’s fascinating none the less, and inexpensive and less toxic. Even if you’re not a parent but a fan, like me, it’s fascinating…take a listen.
