Dressed all in black, baring boobs with black, and looking much like the Rich Witch of the West… Nicole Richie announced her official engagement to Joel Madden.

She appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman in New York City rocking a very large rock on her ity’bity finger. She chatted up the news of her and Joel sealing the deal. The two have been together since 2006. The episode will air Friday.

I am loving Nicole Richie’s dark newish do. It looks really good on her. Certainly better than that stringy mess of a blond mop that use to sit upon her head. Here she is looking frail and fabulous while out with hubby Joel Madden taking advantage of some after Christmas sales at The Grove’s, James Perse shop here in LA.

New mommy and mega shopper, Nicole Richie has checked in to Cedars-Sinai Hospital right down the street from us earlier today. She is suffering from pneumonia. I little body fat would help keep that tiny frame a little warmer maybe? I’m just saying…

“Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia. She is doing well.”

A: The only explanation I can think of is that your mother was trying to make you ugly so she’d look prettier Nicole. I had a little belly on me in middle school but I thought that was normal.

L: Um…I was perfect for much of my youth.

Nicole girl where did you run off to? You had baby Harlow eleven months ago and fell off the face of the Earth! It’s nice to see you out and about but don’t most Hollywood mothers dump their kid with a nanny that barely speaks English and go back to work now?

Nicole’s reps even denied today that the rumors of her appearing on Gossip Girl were untrue. Well then what are you doing? Raising your kid? Eww.

Nicole may paint herself lately as the prim and proper mother of five month old Harlow, but don’t cross her at the valet. She’s got a baby on board!

After a night of hard partying at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with Joel and brother Benji, Nicole is said to have gotten into an altercation and was escorted OFF THE PROPERTY!

An onlooker said: “Nicole started fighting with this woman while they were both waiting for the valet to bring round their cars. She ended up being so rowdy that she was escorted off the property by security.”

That’s right Richie you’re the STAR!

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Sloppy Party Nicole show her ugly head and tarnish the picture perfect life of Nicole Madden, so her reps are denying it.

“Nicole was in Las Vegas but there wasn’t an altercation of any kind involving her.”

Now that Nicole can cross rich mother off of her TO DO list, she’s ready to head back to TV. News to us, she’s been auditioning for various TV guest spots and landed one on NBC’s show Chuck.

“Nicole auditioned for the part and was very funny,” says executive producer Josh Schwartz. “This role is a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt. It’s going to be really fun.”-The Insider
