Dame Elizabeth ‘Still Kicking’ Taylor isn’t going to parade her sadness all over the Staples Center today during Michael’s funeral, because according to her Michael wouldn’t want her there. Taylor was asked to speak during the service today but declined and took to her Twitter to tell us why.
“I just don’t believe that Michael would want me to share my grief with millions of others. How I feel is between us. Not a public event.”I cannot be part of the public whoopla,” she writes. “And I cannot guarantee that I would be coherent to say a word. I will always love Michael from the depth of my being and nothing can separate us. My love goes out to Katherine and Michael’s beloved children.”
I’ve seen Elizabeth out and about in West Hollywood and I honestly don’t think she could physically make it to the service either.
She’s probably watching CNN with me right now.
