First off Paul was the most talented comic in that whole bunch, the show itself is bad and you can't blame him for taking a payday. Secondly you're attacking a comics style, even when you group in gay comics he's by far one of the best dressed. Paul Lyndes cheap polyester and Ascots couldn't hold a candle to Paul F Thompkins tailored designer suits.If you want to attack comics in bad suits go after Paula Poundstone. Used to love the show, but he humor came from the each comedian doing what they did best in small snippets. Last year's over-done "we're super ironic and loud" version was already bad (i'm surprised they didn't call it best week ever "x" to make it cool to the "x" generation) . They didn't just Jump the Shark with the Fonz, they jumped 20 sharks with the entire casof Happy Dayst . 30 minutes of Thompkins in the current version is torture. Too bad...Thompkins was funny in small amounts in previous years. I can't watch it like this. RIP best week ever... That leaves Talk Soup or G4's bastardized Web Soup for now.
