What would make those 10.6 million viewers who tuned in to see Jon & Kate get divorced on Monday nights’ episode, come back for more? TLC has the answer in Jon’s new lady friend Deanna Hummel. Yes I know it’s so fucked up but reports say Deanna’s going to be a part of the show when it resumes episodes on August 3rd. After months of reading Jon deny they were even an item on the cover of People Magazine, now they’re intergrating her into the new broken season.
“Deanna’s role isn’t expected to be big, but because she’s part of Jon’s life, she’ll be filmed.”
Good news for not-so-cute elementary school teacher Deanna who had to bear the brunt of this divorce and look like a jezebel for months until they told the media the truth.
Our favorite parents under pressure will be switching the days they spend in the house so their eight kids won’t have to do the uncomfortable kid exchange in a nuertral place like McDonalds. The divorce might be rocking our world but to mom, Kate, she feels like a new life is just beginning, and a weight has been lifted off her shoulders. Kate’s been happily looking towards the future she hopes (we hear) will start with her own talk show.
“She has been taking some time to think about her life,” said the pal. “She’s upset about what’s going on, but she and Jon will always be there for their children, and they’ll always come first on her list of priorities. But considering she’s in the middle of a divorce, Kate is quite upbeat.”
