Chace Crawford is already an extremely famous perfect fit for the movie, but Julianne Hough(pronounced “HUFF” – FYI) shot to the B-list overnight? Who saw that one coming?
Paramont’s Footloose remake (ugh) starring Zac Efron Chase Crawford has finally found their dancing and singing lady. Poor Miley Cyrus was in the running and hoping that this role might take her from Tween Star to more “adult” roles but Julianna swooped into the casting and stole the show with her infectious smiley and her professional dance moves.
I don’t know who her agent is but they kick ass! She owes them a huge gift for putting her on a level where directors like Danny Ortega (HSM trilogy, Newsies) will audition an actress who has never been in a MAJOR MOVIE. That’s right kids, she has no experience as an actress, only singer, dancer, and DWTS reality TV Star.
You know why I bet they cast her? When I’ve met/hung with Julianne Hough while she was Adam Carolla’s DWTS partner she was like this shinning beacon of God’s light everywhere she went. She seemed so out of place in Hollywood, which means she was good natured and not a bitch at all. Her happiness aura ( that’s how I can best explain it) must have translated on film and now POOF, she’s a movie star.
Our sources say they’re working out scheduling now, so get ready for Julianne to dance her way into Hollywood History and our hearts the same way Kevin Bacon did in 1984.
I can’t wait to tell Ace, he’ll be so proud of her, he adores Jullianne.
