Lindsay Robertson sums the video up at New York quite perfectly, noting that “the Gossip Girl star moves her lips to a song (occasionally), while wearing lots of jewelry and makeup. She also writhes, and is very pretty.”
Our friends hated it, but video cliches are what our pop princesses were raised and fed with! So what if she’s rolling around on a bed wearing pearls like every Madonna, J Lo, and Gwen Stefani video ever made. Gays eat that crap up! I don’t even mind the white rap interlude by Robin Thick but our friends at Jezebel have counted the cliches and ruined it for us all.
