Y'know, I'm not even trying to defend Lilo, but really, so many actors pass on scripts that are later turned into hit films. Sean Connery passed on both The Matrix and The Lord of the Rings. (and I'm definitely NOT comparing Lilo to Sir Sean!) The fact is: nobody knows nothing in Hollywood, especially about what will be a hit movie. The Hangover went through TONS of development over several years before it became a film, with at least 3 screenwriters and as many scripts. And ultimately, who's to say if Lilo's Hangover would be the same hit that Heather Graham's Hangover is? (Not me, but that's because I've had a hard-on for HG for 20 years!)
