The second floor of the gallery was packed Saturday night, but we weren’t going to let anyone walk away with the piece we wanted. The talented Marc Levine’s first show focused on Africa and we had driven an hour ( oh and got into a minor collision where a Hummer almost mounted the hood of our car on the 10, their fault) to buy the one image that reminded us of our travels in Botswana years ago. One of the happiest memories in our lives needed to be frozen in time and this photograph pulled us in and took us back.
