Melrose Place 2.0 that’s coming to the CW is going to be scandalously addictive when it premieres this fall and promises a new gay character for us to gasp over. Problem is the actor, Victor Webster, looks like he belonged on the first Melrose Place in the 90′s, and he is no Andrew Shue! Don’t worry he’s already pretty much naked online posing with footballs, so we’ll get to know every inch of his shaved body, and his character puffs on cigars so we can get a mental picture!
I’m being bitter because it’s early, I’m sure I’ll love all his mental breakdowns, and STD scares on the show, but doesn’t he look like the poor man’s Antonio Sabato Jr?
His name is Caleb Brewer and we meet him in Episode 2
He is Ella Simms’ boss at WPK
He smokes cigars, likes the Los Angeles Lakers, collects sports memorabilia, drinks Scotch, likes guys and is not afraid to admit it.
He is an archetype that hasn’t been explored as much on television and the show is bringing that into the fold
So far he’s in episodes two, three, five, six and appears somewhat frequently
We see some of his personal life, but Slavkin wouldn’t divulge any details
