L: Here is the first photo of Mickey Rourke as Whiplash in ‘Iron Man 2′. How does Mickey manage to still look intoxicated behind all that make up and costume?

L: Director Jon Favreau chatted up the similarities in Robert Downey Jr’s costume and Mickey’s:
“The technologies are definitely related. That’s part of the core theme of the film. In the sequel, Whiplash aka Ivan Vanko is a Russian who has constructed his own version of a suit. His gadgets include a pair of whips, powered by the suit’s glowing chest piece, that will be quite a challenge for RDJ’s character.
Okay, so when we went to go see the first ‘Iron Man’, we totally fell asleep in the theater… it could have been from the Xanax we popped before or it could have been a sucky movie. Which was it? The sequel film is set to be released May 7, 2010.
