La Roux is this androgynous ginger from France that we fell in love with last December with her first single Quicksand. Now we’ve seen her go from no name to having her poster plastered in every restaurant and dry cleaner in Weho from here to La Brea! The queens love her. But I was cool with that because I usually like something, then the gays take it over and call it their own. Then finally after two years, I hear it as ‘the new jam’ during our holiday visits to Portland, OR AND Portland ME.
Even though this video came out in MAY, Lynn just ran into the room saying MTV is touting it as brand new music….to them.
