Sam Worthington answered questions of the Fox lot Thursday night for a small audience which included me and my friend Eva Orner. He looked hotter and less thick in person wearing a Rolling Stones Tshirt under a jacket and jeans. The children of studio people kept trying to top each other in the “Useless Questions Department”, so Sam didn’t say anything too note worthy after the movie, except he did say:
“Jim (James Cameron) would put out a sequel if audiences wanted to revisit Pandora.”
But I don’t think we’d visit Pandora again unless James Cameron promises not to write the script.
Alex: If you’re deaf and can’t hear the lame story going on, the 3D visuals are awe inspiring and unlike anything audiences have ever seen!
Eva: Weak story, and way too long.
Only see it in 3D, if not, don’t bother.

Sorry, gays, but you’re wrong: Avatar rocks! I don’t know what “weak story” you’re referring to, I loved the movie. To be fair, it was hardly a very original narrative, but it was a brilliant film, and thoroughly exciting. (and as we all know, there are only three stories in the world, and they’ve been told many times. It’ all about how you tell it!) Everyone in the packed theater I saw it in loved it and even applauded loudly at the end. A side note: the guy sitting next to me in the theater was a paralyzed Marine, I shit you not. (and he loved the film, too!)
Love your review Alex. Everyone says the story is weak. So I will go see it tomorrow night in French. Yaye for pretty 3D pictures!
