A: OMG OMG OMG, The Picture of Dorian Gray of all time is getting a fresh new canvas and coat of paint, when Colin Firth & Ben Barnes star in Dorian Gray (out 9-9-09). I’ve thought for years Dorian’s inner struggle to stay young forever should actually be set in modern times and he can get plastic surgery while everyone around him ages, but they went for the traditional take. YAWN.
I know…mine’s better, but is does look like they did Oscar Wilde’s classic novel some justice. Although I don’t remember an orgy, I love it!
Freshman year I was forced to read a classic, and like every other fag in training at my arts school I choose Oscar and fell in love with this slightly homoerotic story.
