Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein, was found dead in his New York apartment. The whispers are saying it was a drug overdose; but WAIT it gets worse…
Anonymous sources tell both the New York Post and TMZ that a crack pipe was found next to Goldstein’s body, in addition to some empty pill bottles.
He battled addiction during his life, survived suicide attempts, and one fiery private plane crash, and it ends like this.
Almost like life was pleading with him to live. So sad.
After surviving the plane crash Adam once said,
“There’s no reason why I should have lived or I lived and they didn’t,” he said,”And it’s something I struggle with every day.”
But we don’t want to remember him as a depressed, recently broken up with, sob story.
Our favorite DJ Am memory was interviewing him before he spun at the opening of LAX Night club in Vegas. Britney was the guest of honor and she showed up literally THE NEXT DAY since it was 12:30 and she was suppose to be there at 10. The crowd was all just staring at Britney but DJ Am put on a remix of “I Don’t Want To Lose Your Love” and entire club’s focus shifted. A talent only TRUE DJ’s can posses because we all forgot about Britney and danced…..for one entire song.
